Texas looks to alternative divorce methods to save couples money

The Texas Supreme Court wants to help financially-strapped couples end their marriage in a much cheaper fashion, as the legislative body is looking to expedite the divorce process through the offering of easy-to-use forms.

The Wall Street Journal reported that this method is being offered as a way to end a marriage in the state of Texas without forcing couples to endure a long and likely-costly legal battle. Because a divorce can sometimes take more than three years, each person usually has to pay their attorney for the entirety of this period.

This often results in high divorce costs, which in turn add to the stress that is associated with the process. The high divorce rate and the relatively large number of people within the state who are unemployed pushed the Texas court to move for the creation of forms to end a marriage.

Though these forms are in the preliminary stages of being created, there is considerable momentum behind this push for an expedited solution to ending a marriage.

Although some states are looking to move the process along through specific shortcuts like divorce forms, there are more tangible alternatives for couples.

Almost as simple as filling out a form, and much more secure and professional, online divorce mediation helps a couple end their marriage in an expedited manner.

Divorce mediation pursued through online companies such as Clearview Divorce, help people navigate through the tricky waters of a split by offering a professional mediator to ease the process and explain each step.

Because it is pursued online, people from all over the country can use this tool instead of spending thousands for a divorce lawyer at a lengthy trial.
